Set in 1990, this film tells the story of a 17-year-old student named Bo-ra. Bo-ra has a friend named Yeon-du who is known to have a disease. Yeon-du has a crush on a male student named Hyun-jin. This made Yeon-du reluctant to go to the United States to undergo surgery as planned. Bo-ra promises to keep an eye on Hyun-jin while Yeon-du is away. However, there were mistakes that occurred from the beginning. Bo-ra accidentally even likes the man her best friend likes. Bo-ra and Yeon-du's friendship is in danger of cracking because of this. 20th Century Girl is a film directed by Bang Woo-ri who also acts as the screenwriter. The film is produced by Im Seung-yong and features a lineup of Korean stars with stunning acting skills.
